@maya_b Maybe I'm just very cynical but I would dismiss this immediately as engagement bait if it popped up in my feed. The crying face. The very skilled art. The sob story. The uber-generic twitter handle. Doesn't pass the smell test.

@gwcoffey it's good to have that smell and it's good to ask the right question like @maya_b instead of falling for that bait. but isn't it mean? and: the faschist techbros are preaching that empathy is bad, is weakness. I don't know if the side effect that being more cynical becomes healthy is intended, but this is part of making the world a worse place. so thanks to you both for noticing and discussing, that is part of making the world a better place!
