@abr @robin @slightlyoff @Edent This is coming. Probably next year. iOS's browser restrictions has basically forced Google to participate in the standards process for things to work on iPhones.
As soon as it's possible to run Chromium on the iPhone, developers will start insisting people install Chrome to access x, y, or z websites, and the need to obey web standards will mostly fall away.

@abr @robin @slightlyoff @Edent It's really a bizarre situation, but the entire web has survived based on Apple using it's monopoly to restrict Google's, forcing a lowest common denominator of web feature support. Soon as some regulatory body fails to deal with Chrome before dealing with iOS, the web is pretty much dead, Google will have AOL'd the whole thing.
