@abr @robin @slightlyoff @Edent It's really a bizarre situation, but the entire web has survived based on Apple using it's monopoly to restrict Google's, forcing a lowest common denominator of web feature support.
Soon as some regulatory body fails to deal with Chrome before dealing with iOS, the web is pretty much dead, Google will have AOL'd the whole thing.

@abr @robin @slightlyoff @Edent Adam's comment was *almost* right, except for the fact that iOS has such a large impact on the US market, Google can't afford to lose it.
