If you've never seen an aggressively-adblocked Web, the only thing I can compare it to is "what if the internet wasn't also the NASCAR front row all the time". What if the Web wasn't loud as hell and smothered in corporate branding? What if you could have the web without huffing gasoline fumes and watching things going in circles while you wait for something to crash?
True story, someone looking over my shoulder once asked how they can get this special better internet I'm using.
This is how.

@mhoye I had someone ask "where are all the ads?" and I'm like "wait until you see it with the useless crap I disable with TamperMonkey." I turn TM off and they realize how much non-advertising background crap some sites have.

@mhoye My usual browser has JS almost entirely turned off and uBlock Origin (of course). Occasionally I wind up viewing the web on something that is completely unblocked and wow it is an experience and not in a good way. Thankfully these days I have uBlock Origin (Lite I think) on my phone too. (Totally blocking JS breaks a lot of stuff, I don't recommend except for hardcore people.)
