@cy The author hasn’t called for that at all. What they do point out is that older people are living much longer in a poor state of health than ever before. The extreme positions on this issue, fascistic extermination or prolonging life at all cost for as long as technically possibly while healthcare & housing for others fall into neglect are both unacceptable. The answer is somewhere within the enormous space between them.

You can't compromise with fascists. They are the compromisers, saying a sensible and totally NOT extermination of the inferior and degenerate is going to happen and everyone is going to love it. They'll push until it's a compromise between fascism, and more fascism. The only defense is to stop them, to say no, fuck you. Anyway the reality is we're not prolonging life at all cost. We're just caring for the elderly, and it is a bad thing when they sicken and die before that. It is a bad thing when you sicken and die, even if you're saving people the trouble of caring for you. The article writer indicates it is not a bad thing, a talking point fascists have used again and again to push their individualist might-makes-right fanatical slave doctrine.
