It's the 'obligation' I wouldn't want them to have. Choice is different.
As I don't have children, I would expect that I would end up in elderly or nursing care, assuming I don't pass my dying breath while driving a tractor on a small holding while collecting coppiced firewood while aged 102!

I couldn't afford a nursing home, myself. Also can't afford to buy farmland, or a tractor. Our situations may be a little different. CC: @Susan60@aus.social @naturepunk@ecoevo.social
