@blingoali@mastodonapp.uk we ended up deciding to spin the cabin 90 degrees two days before the came to build the base.
The dogs have a favourite spot in garden for sitting out and the cabin would have been on top of it. It’s also a sun trap late afternoon and a nice place to sit.
Cabin is similar layout but 1.5m longer & .85m wider
Lock House is 9x6m x2 plus 4x3.5m conservatory
Wooden House is 14x4.8m (living and kitchen and 9x6.8 m (beds, sanitary) + conservatory.
Plans as built and as we’ve altered it

@BitchinRob@weird.autos So about 5% more space than Lock House. Handy. And you've nicely simplified the rooms in the wooden house: fewer cubby holes and cupboards, just nice big cubes. Nice.
