I guess, everyone who knows it, loves the 2016 film "Hidden Figures". However, there's one scene that had me wondering since the first time I watched it. When Katherine Johnson makes the (by then) genius proposal to switch from an analytical to a numerical approach for calculating the re-entry, she speaks about Euler's method for calculating differential equations. However, in the 1960s Runge-Kutta methods with higher orders of convergence were already known. I wonder if this was an 1/2
