@imp3tuz I can only assume its a combination of the
Dunning–Kruger effect and that the AI will never say "no, I'm not doing that"
Its also cringe when they say stuff like "oh well could you do better in 10 minutes?" Not knowing that yeah, with the default camera prefabs, 3d person character controller, a quick dip into the terrain height maps, and a default skybox would absolutely outshine this slop and all of that is ready to go from the default assets or FOSS on github/codeberg.
Idk it just gets under my skin that they want burn the planet to reinvent worse wheels all over the place.

@scremlin no literally!! like 98% of the time whatever you're trying to do is probably sitting around on some repo someone made for fun or to address that exact issue. definitely the dk effect. cause a lot of the time with my students it really was just that they didn't really know where or how to look (see gif) and the other group just didn't give a fuck 💀
