@RaffKarva cool! I've done more or less the same. Write offline in markdown and build using Jekyll and push then online.
More aligned to my brain too

@wildeng I looked into Jekyll and Hugo, ended up going the self-build route. Time will tell if it was the right decision. I really wanted to like Ghost. However, the platform is very focused on subscribers, monetization, analytics and growth, writing craft seemed like an afterthought.
