Japan has restarted its 15th nuclear unit after Tohoku earthquake and tsunami and Fukushima disaster. It's a welcomed move that will help ease effects of limited fossil fuels supply from Persian Gulf.
Before disaster NPPs supplied up to 30% of Japans electric energy. In 2023 this number was as low as 5.5%, but is expected to rise to 20%.
