@amyworrall btw, finally installing it today, and went through the onboarding.. looks really amazing! Super powerful it seems? I'd love to hear the backstory on why you decided to develop it. :)

@lwdupont thanks! I do a bunch of print projects (got a wide format plotter, and a Risograph, as well as various normal printers). The thing that pushed me over the line to make Octavo was when I upgraded my laser from an HP to an Oki, and the Oki’s driver didn’t have a “make booklet” setting. But I’ve also often had to clean up eg a bunch of scanned sheet music, so I figured I’d make one app that could do that too :) And overall, it was “can I ship an app in a month”, testing myself.
