The tech industry has a well-established problem with "shut the fuck up about your rights, I'm trying to make money" I don't remember it being as brazen as it is with the AI shite. Or seeing politicians nodding along and going "Yeah that makes a lot of sense, we'll start stripping back regulations tomorrow."
