i sent them an e-mail saying that i never consented to my data being processed in this way and that their processing might be a GDPR violation and they sent the order on the same day

@catileptic hmm - just realised your name is also Alex and remembered that I also recently had strange emails such as a car dealer (which I did buy a car from last year) setting up a sales enquiry of a Lamborghini Urus (something I never asked about, couldn't afford and as a single man a large SUV wouldn't appeal to me anyway). I didn't get any human contact me, so I suspect someone realised they had made a mistake and quickly stopped the pre-sales process. I do wonder if our names get used as "test subjects" for new marketing initiatives / test of AI software (simply because they would be near top of a list of given names)..
