@benjamineskola No, they don't! there's plenty of things to complain about and people have made whole websites on the matter. what I was getting at is Age verification and the fact that some contributors to systemd are in favor of that, mainly because they want Linux to be compliant, so corporations keep using it.. doesn't that serve corporate interest and go against FOSS principles? Also, I don't see any Age verification mechanisms discussed on passwd, which makes me think we have different definitions on what is "bloat"?(something to be expected)

    @levi There are good reasons to complain about systemd but there are also bad reasons. You complained about ‘email address’ field etc. These are bad reasons. I don’t like to prioritise corporate interests, but if the corporate usecase doesn’t harm real people’s needs then I don’t see it as an issue worth complaining about. I don’t like age verification but this is not a problem invented by the systemd developers and blaming them for it is silly IMO.
