If you want to find a mate, focus first on just finding friends and finding you.
Go to where people do things. Try a lot of different things. Join people who help at a hospice, join a group of birdwatchers, meet up with people who make birdhouses, whatever, get out try stuff. Go back to places where what they do fascinates you and fills you with joy or a sense of purpose. Make friends with women - not to "score", but just to be a friend
Be friendly, be helpful, be reliable, be SAFE

Out of the melee of trying things, you are going to have fun, grow as a person, and discover what you ACTUALLY like. You are also likely to suddenly be stopped in your tracks by your unconscious brain which will twist your head around and gape at someone, and everything in your body is going to focus at once and scream "WAIT ... WHO IS THAT!!!" It may also be a psychopath who intends to bury you in an unmarked grave, but it is far more likely to be someone you can have a really nice life with
