Does anybody have any experience of visiting North Macedonia from Serbia? I am currently in Novi Sad and trying to figure out the best way to get there. I prefer to take the train where possible due to greater physical comfort of travel and ability to keep an eye on my bags. I'm thinking taxi to Petrovaradin station, train into Belgrade, train from Belgrade to Niš, then stay the night and take bus to Skopje in North Macedonia the next day. Wondering about where/how they do passport control.
