@blinry @dianea it's been on my to-do list to try, but when I went to gather the basic steps, I ended up with something like 100 pages of instructions that repeatedly point out that I will almost certainly brick the phone, possibly with damage to any connected device and no help for repairs.
So, yeah, maybe too good to be a true alternative except for the lucky few.
It's nice that there is an option out there, tho.

@shadowfals @blinry @dianea what device were you looking at? Depending on the phone the risks vary but generally it's not any more risky than flashing lineageOS or whatever. Some people like to mess with the partition table which can be pretty hairy in general though the install instructions really need some better standardisation
