For months now, whenever I open a can of cat food, I always grab two cans from the assortment pack, and let my cat choose which one I open. I read the flavors out loud, show him the pictures, and let him sniff the cans. I've noticed a pattern. Every time, he pays close attention through this whole ritual, considers both options, and then, without fail, he chooses the can in my left hand.
