@clew @yvan I imagine they'd make a great green mulch, especially if they die back to the ground during summer like they do here. And you can have a few good salads before they go and you thin them out for tomato placement.

I’ve sure counted them as a crop rotation for soil health, in a hoophouse that always grows related luxury crops in the high season. @Cetraria @yvan
