@ticho What has changed in the past quarter century? The political landscape in the US (which again, I struggle to divorce Firefly from as a product and artefact of US culture) and by extension a lot of other western cultures (including my own) has shifted right in a way that appears to have reignited that "lost cause" stuff, which IMO the whole make stuff great again narrative is borrowing heavily from. I little while back, I saw a US confederate flag being flown here. Yikes. @lritter
