I'm thinking about ways to maximize software freedom in the world. I don't know where I'll land, but I'm thinking about things like to what extent does my freedom to change a program real if I don't know how to program? Or if I need to use a big data center? Or have unusual hardware? I find these kinds of questions more interesting than debating details of copyright licenses. (Please do not respond. I'm not ready to discuss or read opinions. I want to get clarity in my head before I discuss.)
