@babe I let my diesel sit for four months last year, only starting it occasionally and running it around the block. I've been paying the price ever since. "Running lumpy" is a great phrase. Also, seized brake calipers, rusty rotors, dead battery, and the failed speed sensor. Thankfully, my mechanic is not cruel. It's been getting more regular use since then.

@ColesStreetPothole Ouch! I invested in a decent battery charger last year after the lumpy issue arose so I'd stop doing small runs to keep it from dying. The battery died in this once and good lord I do not want to go through that again. Expensive and a nightmare to swap out. Some elements of the old civic I miss. Like being able to fix most things with a hammer or a slapdash approach
