@arroz Yes, please! It’s very annoying that there is no way to tell if pressing Return, Shift-Return, or Option-Return will send the message or insert a newline. If you use Shift- or Option-Return, PLEASE, render the send button disabled as long as the modifier is pressed. (And this settles that you should not use Shift-Return because you do not want to blink the button for each upper-case letter.) Actually, plain Return should insert a newline and send should be triggered by Command-Return.

@arroz Why not implement both? Might be easier. No breaking backwards compatibility at the expense of slightly more complexity going forward. Both indicate a clear intent to start a new line. @MrRooni
