this is me rickrolling myself at 4k in openbsd. i only have a 1080p screen, but the yt video is set to 4k. and this is openbsd, running on my librebooted x280. librewolf running in openbsd, running on libreboot, running on x280. yes. i wanted to make sure my port compiled on at least one other machine than my main obsd dev machine. *now* i'm happy to submit this to the openbsd ports mailing list for review. yes. yes. yes.

@libreleah was wondering… does replacing Lenovo BIOS with coreboot prevent some of the hardware to work or be recognised by an OS without modification? Or is this a drop-in replacement without blobs?

@libreleah Huh. I once tried to put OpenBSD on a laptop (I can't remember if it was a thinkpad or a macbook) and the install went fine but I was never able to config a full GUI environment. I was repeatedly warned that daily driving OpenBSD in this way was not recommended. But I wanted to learn about BSD so I tried it (and failed). Maybe I will give it another shot. Thanks for the inspiration!

@libreleah hey look I have one of those. the tiny screen is really good at ingesting fingersweat and the palmrest is kinda jaggy, but otherwise an okay little laptop. (posted from my T430 rocking Skulls coreboot)
