Not sure a player aid is necessary when all the final scoring is on the final board.
I enjoyed playing but, for me, Beowolf is a better game. The story is actually more coherent (unusual for Knizia) and the rewards are less random (you know what special cards you are fighting for)
I think one thing Ego does have over Beowulf is the modular board, which does change the set up each game (but that's why you lose the narrative which appears in the orginal)

I also thought Municipium was better than Silos so maybe I am just old fashioned

@Simpike Last time I played I didn't have a good view of the final board. Having it on a player aid would have made the importance of it clearer. In fact it might save on table space if you could remove the final board. 🤔 We'll have to play Beowulf with @CTD next time we meet...
