@LDJ it took about a fortnight, I used lick-e-lix (cat yogurt) to tempt him onto the wheel, then held it just out of reach to get him to walk, and lots of praise when he did walk. I then would smear it on the wheel (bit gross) so he'd sort of follow the trail?
You have to be very persistent for about a fortnight, I'd try to get him onto the wheel and walking a few times a day, lots of treats and praise. Then one day he went on and walked on his own?

@LDJ lots of cat wheel owners say the same thing I've found: once he's really comfy on it, for a few weeks he'll go on it for the fun, then he seemed to get bored and I think only does it now because he knows he'll get a dreamie
