Random Thoughts: - I think the case could be made that billionaires and venture capital are inflationary and need to be regulated. - I think the incentives are off for AI. If AI companies charge per-token, the AI company has every incentive to use as many input/output tokens as possible (or that their infra can support). - If AI makes you 10x more productive, then that's 10wks worth of work per week. On a team of 10ppl, that's 100wks (2 man-yrs) of work per week. No org is setup to handle that.

    @davatron5000@mastodon.social I think it's also important to consider the constraints that developers face: is it review bandwidth, is it coding speed, is it figuring out the business model, is it getting user feedback? If you optimize coding, but nothing else, then you'll still end up limited by the same factors.
