@Lynn @baxaphobia @amy0223 I think, as I've reflected on it, that the way I would have explained it to Little Peggy would be to tell her to imagine herself as that loop. Then I would put an arm around her and tell her that was the wrap-around string. Then I would show her that my arm around her made a new hole.

@kernsac @baxaphobia @amy0223 I've always been pretty good at understanding what someone is showing me, if they go slow, and then I can adapt the technique into something that works for me. To this day, I'm still like that. For whatever reason, I just couldn't do it with tying my shoes, until that moment.
