@amy0223 It took me a long time to learn how to tie my shoes due to some fine motor issues but I did it. A friend actually taught me, not my mother who was content to have me have slip on shoes or do it for me. Not!

@baxaphobia @amy0223 I was ten when I learned to tie my shoes. My parents and camp counselors tried to teach me, but I just couldn't understand the process. I remember when it clicked, we were in the mountains in a cabin, and I finally understood what people were trying to show me. My family and I were ecstatic, and they kept untying my shoes and teasingly saying that I couldn't tie them, and I kept tying them. It was great!
