@jonhicks goshdarnit. I was going to recommend Soundhound, which was a Shazam competitor but lets you hum a tune into the mic to identify it -- it doesn't always work but it did a surprising amount -- but they seem to have pivoted to AI stuff now, looking at their website :(

@sil yeah I tried googles song search which is the same concept, but no joy with that
