@68000 Well, I was a G.I. Joe kid primarily, so I didn't have very many Transformers. Optimus was the only "big ticket" Transformer that I had. Not all my Joe stuff survived the years, but since I had so few transformers, most of them survived because they escaped notice. Robots in disguise indeed!

@SynAck My Joes disappeared over time, too. I suspect they were donated/sold at garage sales as I lost interest in them. I think the only 80s toy I still possess that was originally mine is one of the cars from M.A.S.K. While I'd love to have some of that stuff back now, these days I guess I just don't have the physical attachment to nostalgia any more. Probably for the better given what that stuff costs to replace now.
