@MissGayle I wouldn't say he did it "willingly". He was surely motivated by fear of violent #revolution. Trump is probably more, not less, cowardly than #Orbán. And if Trump is too demented to see the handwriting on the wall, others who do understand the risk will make the decision for him. It could be any or all of those you Iisted.
Yes, Trump will step down if electorally defeated. Or he'll be taken down.

@dedicto Curious what "risk" you are imagining. Project 2025 backers want democracy removed, in case you've forgotten. They don't consider voting to be legitimate in the first place. And again, when he doesn't concede, who is going to physically remove him when 30,000 armed right wing nutjobs show up at the white house to "guard it" when he loses?
