(Also I decided to take this quiz under the guise of can you tell what is human vs AI. I got a perfect score. That isn’t to say all human writing is better; I’ve read and edited some truly terrible human writing that I would gladly trade for the machine prose. But I know the tells of each.)

@film_girl But can you tell a WAV recording from a 160 kbps AAC from a 320 kbps OGG VORBIS file?

@film_girl oh yes! I found a good use for LLMs in a translation context at work. What I ended up finding out and communicating to the team I was helping, is that is says more about your language proficiency and writing skills, if you find LLM output great or even better then what you would write. And I say that as a non-native English speaker who has been humbled more than a few times by something a LLM probabilistuck together.
