@82mhz @zhenech Oh - also, as it's an old computer, try replacing the CMOS battery (if it's replaceable).

@kauer Might give this a try. The computer was in a basement with intermittent high humidity, maybe something corroded on the board... but it seems to be some kind of hardware fault. @zhenech
