Reactionaries work according to a ruleset:
"Rules apply to everyone who are not us, and everyone who is us, needs no rules."
They are hypocrites and a plague of the first order.

They are not hypocrites, they are fascists. Fascism prioritizes power over rationality or rules based order. They flaunt the fact that they don’t care about the rules because it’s a way to show they have power that others lack. It’s a domination thing.
