Let's ask to the #hivemind of the #fediverse... I read that #Artemis2 astronauts are the first people looking at the #darksideofthemoon. Is it because #Apollo missions didn't have windows allowing to look down?

@paoloredaelli@mastodon.uno Apollo had windows, and the Apollo astronauts also saw the far side of the moon. top paragraph here (https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexperience/features/moon-looking-moon-apollo-8/) says: The astronauts of Apollo 8 were the first men to see the far side of the moon with their own eyes, without the aid of optical devices.
