@crystallord idk if this is still the case but I tinkered with matrix a while back potentially for camming/adult stuff, and during testing I made several chat rooms, whose private key I didn't save (thinking they were disposable/removable). It's turns out without the key there was no way to delete the room, even if you're the server admin. So my idiocy aside, say you don't set up your permissions quite right and someone created a room you didn't want on the server, I'd have had no way to delete it other than nuke the server. Like wtf?
