There are so many older TV shows available as DVD or Bluray box sets. Star Gate, Star Trek shows, MacGyver, Columbo, many more, and that&#39;s awesome! But no new shows! No Star vs. the Forces of Evil, no Owl House, do new TV shows ever get disk releases these days?* I fear the answer is &quot;no&quot;, meh. Ah well, I guess there are enough old shows for the rest of my live. *Statement based on the release situation in Germany

I guess I'm just not really up-to-date with modern TV shows. And I guess cartoons are always more rare to get box sets. Sadly enough, we don't even get the Bob's Burgers boxes in Germany. I mean, I can import them, but no German audio and no clue about region codes.

@BryanGreyson I think due to fan requests... so Firefly, Caprica, Terminator (Sara Connor version) - got DVD releases with effectively 1ish seasons. If the one you are looking for only had a few episodes (8 to 13 is common season now on streamers) - 1 season is going to need fan outcry for someone to spend time to collect, organize, clean up, get licensing, publish - due to cost... Older shows that ran 24 episodes/season and many seasons - more likely for payback. 🤔
