@lukyan Another thing I really hate with the visibility thing is if they change the tab name to "don't forget about us!" or some bullshit, because that means I suddenly can't see anymore what of the open tabs from that site that specific tab was.
Luckily that's something that seems to have become more rare. (and is also blocked by blocking pagevisibility).
I've heard Twitch uses it to make sure people watch ads, but I have to say, I assume thanks to uBlock, I haven't seen ads on Twitch in quite some time, so, even better, I guess. 😅

@BryanGreyson I don't want any movement on screen that's not caused by my actions, tab name changes are very not ok. (With minor exceptions for the clock and the notification icon. And the columns of the Mastodon interface.) I never visited Twitch not in a private browsing window, so I haven't noticed it doing that; the other site doing that is otherwise fully functional with JS disabled.
