@lisamelton the people who publish elaborate treatises on why they expect a follow back are exhausting. They're so hung up on this idea that following or not following is an exercise in power requiring them to be proactive to protect their own social equity.
They also never adhere to their own guidelines.

@sysop408 @lisamelton I could sorta understand if someone made a lot of follower-only posts and they would want equal access to your follower-only posts as a form of shared trust, but since that’s backwards from the normal “if I follow you you must then follow me” view I just…don’t get it.
