They sort of mention this in Shrinking, when Gabby brags about winning a LOTR themed pub quiz (with this as a question, although they’re not nerdy enough to specify before or after reforging). In your face nerds! Um… I don’t think you get to say that when you win the quiz. My wife is the same. She pretends like I’m a nerd, but now gets most of my very obscure references. I think that means she’s lost her high ground.
