Ha! MobyGames has everything. I finally managed to find out what that game was that I saw once in a bargain bin in 1995. I thought it was called Armada, but wasn't even sure about that. But they do have images of the front and back of the German version for Wing Commander: Armada and it did indeed come without a cardboard box, and the colors and layout on the back do resemble my faint memory from 31 years ago. 😄 #retrogames
