I frequently have thoughts I'd want to write down in 4000 characters, but they wouldn't fit on my sites, and forum posts would be hard to discover after a few days. And I'd love to be able to read eight long-form ramblings about Jagged Alliance 2 or Opposing Force. There's lots of great videos on youtube, but the video format is a high barrier for entry. Simply writing text is much more accessible to many more people.
