I finally bought a new mattress. The last one was 13 years ago. It cost twice as much. Not sure if that is inflation or quality of the mattress. It took me a couple years to convince myself that it really was bad enough. I wonder if this new one will outlast my body.

@ajlewis2@social.vivaldi.net The cost is outrageously expensive these days. Ours cost us both a kidney, or at least, that's how it felt. Hope the new one is comfortable.

@ajlewis2@social.vivaldi.net so... I just flipped my mattress around last week... because it had gained a depression that fit me too well. Mattresses are weird for me. First place I stayed long enough where it's something I am wearing out. 😅
