@bigpawedbear Aah was wondering if it was part of a thread. Yeah I don't do usb headsets, ever. Not a single one I like, and I have a mixer anyway so it's made me a bit snobbish.

@FreakyFwoof snobbish? if you work the way you do, you need good gear and what's the point of using diffrent kit for regular pc use than that which you'd use for music production? may as well route the whole lot through the same kit. another thing my pc decided to do, not of my wanting, was to turn off my analogue headphones on my main board sound. and what a mess it was to find that setting and re-enable it. Raging.
