Was talking to somepony who does a lot of cooking vore, but also tries really hard to make it feel very cozy, and it struck me again - and has been striking me for a while - how much that "extreme/hard" kink is not like a logical thing?
Like some of the soft vore stuff I do (even without any gore) is much more intense than any of the stuff she does.
I'd love to find other way of describing this than "extreme/hard".

Because there is an actual category here, in the same way that NSFW is a category. Certain types of kink where like.. you have to pay more attention to labeling them. You can expect them to be more niche. They're not "typical", and they're atypical in a way that might be disturbing to some critters. Hard vore, cooking vore, watersports, disposal. But "extreme" feels stigmatizing in an unnecessary way.
