Because there is an actual category here, in the same way that NSFW is a category.
Certain types of kink where like.. you have to pay more attention to labeling them. You can expect them to be more niche. They're not "typical", and they're atypical in a way that might be disturbing to some critters.
Hard vore, cooking vore, watersports, disposal. But "extreme" feels stigmatizing in an unnecessary way.

I've always liked "NSFW" instead of sexual because not all NSFW is sexual, and it also makes it more clear what the category is - "this is something that, on average, most critters don't want their boss to see." It's not perfect, but it's better to me than just "explicit". I was trying to think like.. is there a more inclusive way of talking about things like hard vore, watersports, etc.. that critters will still know what I mean?
