@Rickd6 I love the concept of this book because it's really about how we (children of immigrants) meld home culture with the culture we're surrounded with. I find American cookies (and cakes and pies and...) **too** sweet, so creating something that's not too sweet while bringing in flavours from home is awesome. I'm figuring out which ones to tackle first. Maybe the chocolate chip or the miso shortbread.
