@sgued @notjustbikes Why not develop a local renewable energy system that solves a local problem where the design can be shared rather than thinking about some gigantic global supply chain? For instance, the simple choice of packed earth or adobe as a building material (legal in three US states), allow people to construct dwellings that don’t need energy to remain comfortable year-round. Heat pumps are great, but a building that doesn’t need anything other than it’s construction is elegant
